FAQ about CrossFit

What is CrossFit?

CrossFit is a fitness regimen.  CrossFit can be defined as constantly varied, functional movements performed at high intensity.  

Do I need to be in shape to start CrossFit?

No, there are no pre requisites for starting CrossFit.  The best way to get in shape for CrossFit is to do CrossFit.  

Will I get bulky?

Lifting weights will not make you bulky.  What you see on TV and what happens in 90% of CrossFit facilities are different.  Remember you are watching the Pros of CrossFit on TV, it is no different than watching the NFL, NHL, MLB or NBA.

Will I get hurt?

Functional movements are safe.  They are movements that our bodies are meant to do which decreases the chances of getting hurt.  You will also always have a trainer by your side during class times.  Checking your ego at the door will also decrease the chances of getting hurt.
